Welcome to Shelburne!
Nestled on the banks of the Androscoggin River, on the northern end of the Mount Washington Valley, sits the quiet, rural town of Shelburne, New Hampshire.
Founded in 1769, the town was named for William Petty Fitzmaurice, Earl of Shelburne, and is now home to approximately 363 residents.
Shelburne is located on the scenic byway known as the Presidential Range Trail. We belong to the GRS Cooperative, along with Gorham and Randolph, and we are also part of SAU #20. Information in regards to our schools can be found here.
If you need to register a car, motorcycle, trailer, or a dog (cash or check only), the Town Clerk's hours are as follows:
TOWN CLERK HOURS
Mondays – 4 PM to 6 PM
Tuesdays – 3 PM to 6 PM
Wednesdays - 11 AM to 3 PM
For any other business, the Town Office is open Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 5 PM.
Events & Announcements:
Property Tax payments were due to the Tax Collector's office on December 3rd. Overdue taxes accrue interest on a daily basis. Payments can be made in person, via mail, or dropped in the locked box on the front porch.
