Shelburne Fire Department
Shelburne has an "on-call" Fire Department and training meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
Our Fire Station is undergoing a huge renovation which includes a brand new meeting room, office, kitchenette and two full restrooms. We can't wait to share the pictures of the finished product!

Shelburne FAST Squad
Since Shelburne doesn't have full-time ambulance service, we depend on the town of Gorham to respond to our emergency medical calls. However, because there may be a few extra minutes in overall travel and response time, we created the FAST Squad to help bridge the gap.
Currently, we have a very small group of fully trained EMS-certified volunteers who respond quickly to in-town emergencies and can provide basic triage services before the ambulance arrives.
At this time we are actively recruiting new members. If you are a resident and intested in this opportuinty, please contact the Town Office for more information.
Anyone who wishes to burn clean, ordinary combustibles such as leaves, brush or untreated lumber, or to have a camp or cooking fire MUST have written permission from the landowner and a Fire Permit from the Forest Fire Warden or the Town Fire Department. Please call Robert Langlands, the Fire Warden, at 603-466-2022 to obtain a permit.
More details on what can and cannot be burned and more information can be found starting on page 122, in the rear of the Town Report.
